Introducing the SRG website

SatelliteResearchGroup.com is live.

We’ve built a new home for Satellite Research Group at Iowa State University: a place to explore our projects, meet the people behind them and find a way to get involved.

Whether you’re a student thinking about joining, a partner following our progress or simply curious about what we’re building, here’s where to start.

Take a look around

• Projects — Explore our spacecraft demonstrators, high-altitude projects and ground systems, including Destination Dirt, HASP and GroundSat.
• Subteams — Get to know the five engineering disciplines that bring our hardware and systems together.
• Team — Meet SRG’s executive officers and technical subteam leaders.
• Partners — Learn about the sponsors and university partners supporting our work.
• Join — Find meeting information, join our Slack workspace or get in touch with the team.

From the workbench

This Updates page will be a place to share the work as it happens: project progress, design decisions, testing and lessons learned along the way.

We want to show how things come together, from an early idea to hardware on the bench.

Thanks for following along. Take a look at our projects and see what we’re working on.
